Wills & Trusts Workshop
St. Patrick Catholic Church
On February 5, St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kansas hosted a Wills and Trusts workshop with estate planning attorney, Casey Connealy, of Gaughan & Connealy Estate Planning Attorneys. In his presentation, Casey discussed the difference between a will and a trust, the importance of a family meeting, and how to incorporate charitable giving into your will. Wills & Trusts Workshop
Holy Spirit Catholic Church
We partnered with Holy Spirit Catholic Church to host an educational workshop on Wills and Trusts, welcoming 30 attendees from Holy Spirit and nearby parishes. We are committed to empowering parishioners with resources to make informed decisions about their future. Through workshops on estate planning and charitable giving strategies, CFNEK helps individuals maximize their impact while reducing tax burdens—strengthening parishes, schools, and ministries across the archdiocese.
Priest Retirement Workshop
The Catholic Foundation recently hosted its first-ever Priest Retirement Workshop for clergy members in the archdiocese, providing essential guidance on planning for retirement. The event featured expert speakers who addressed financial, emotional, and spiritual considerations for priests as they prepare for life after ministry. Attendees expressed gratitude for the opportunity to gain valuable insights and connect with fellow clergy members during this pivotal moment in their vocations.
