Holy Spirit Catholic Church
The Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas hosted a Wills and Trusts Workshop at St. Teresa of Avila in Westphalia, Kansas. The afternoon started with a delicious lunch and fellowship followed by a Wills and Trusts presentation presented by Thomas F. Robrahn, Attorney at Law from Robrahn Law Office. We are grateful to Fr. Haganey for the invitation to host this educational workshop and thankful to Thomas Robrahn for his insightful words. Catholic Advisors Network Topeka
This month, the Catholic Advisors Network joined together for lunch, networking, and a Legislative Update from Chuck Weber, Kansas Catholic Conference. Estate Planning 101
Most Pure Heart of Mary
On April 23, Most Pure Heart of Mary in Topeka hosted Vince Cox, local estate attorney, to present on Estate Planning 101. In this Catholic Foundation workshop, Vince discussed the intricacies of establishing a will or trust, ways to avoid probate, and best practices in leaving a legacy to your loved ones and charitable organizations. Continuing Education Program
We have organized another strong, Catholic-centered program for the 15th Annual St. Thomas More Continuing Education Program. Our CE Program is a great opportunity to network in person, obtain continuing education credit, and support the Catholic professional community. Registration is now open for this year's event! Chrism Mass
Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann celebrated the annual Chrism Mass in April at Savior Pastoral Center. The Chrism Mass is one of the most beautiful liturgies of the year. He blessed the Oil of Catechumens and the Oil of the Sick, and consecrated the Holy Chrism for priests to use in their service this year. Priests in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas also renewed their priestly commitment. We thank God for their ministry!
