Your Archbishop’s Call to Share appeal gift will change countless lives by bringing Jesus to others through the education and outreach of more than 40 offices, agencies, and ministries throughout Northeast Kansas! This special, annual charitable opportunity is a call to strengthen our friendship with Christ while transforming the lives of people who seek joy and friendship with Jesus. Just as important, it provides a way to serve the people and parishes in Northeast Kansas in need of prayer and healing, physical and spiritual comfort.

National Catholic Schools Week is an annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. Schools typically observe the week with Masses, assemblies, and other activities for students, families, parishioners, and community members to celebrate. Entering its 50th anniversary year, National Catholic Schools week will be celebrated from January 28 to February 3, 2024. Celebrate National Catholic Schools Week by giving to a scholarship fund or school endowment fund in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas!



Sacred Heart Emporia Legacy Society

The Sacred Heart Legacy Society of Emporia held its second annual recognition event on December 20th at the home of Jim and Kathy Kessler. Twenty-eight members of the Legacy Society were there to celebrate the event and recognize Fred and Lillian Spellman as the 2023 "Distinguished Sacred Heart Legacy Society Award" recipient. Lillian and her late husband, Fred, were instrumental in establishing the Legacy Society as well as being loyal Sacred Heart parishioners.
