A Taste of Community, A Legacy of Faith

The Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas was proud to support Resurrection Catholic School (RCS) and its annual Taste of KCK event held on Saturday, January 24, 2026. This important fundraiser provides critical support for need-based scholarships—99% of RCS families rely on financial aid to make a Catholic education possible. Proceeds also benefit academic programs, classroom resources, and the daily operations of the school. Resurrection is a vibrant faith community where students strive for excellence, families live their Catholic faith, and the school and parish work together to support one another. CFNEK is grateful to the RCS faculty, staff, Board of Trustees, and parish pastors for their continued commitment to forming students for success. A Night of Generosity and Impact: Snowball 2026

On Saturday, January 17th, Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas hosted its annual Snow Ball at the Overland Park Convention Center. More than 2,000 guests gathered for an incredible evening in support of Catholic Charities’ mission to serve those most in need across our community. The event raised more than $6 million to advance critical initiatives that provide hope, dignity, and stability to individuals and families throughout Northeast Kansas. The Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas was proud to be a sponsor at the event, with Executive Director Derek Lyssy and multiple CFNEK board members in attendance.
