Thank you to the many people who made this year's Continuing Education Program a success.  We extend a special thank you to our exhibitors, presenters, planning committee and all those who helped make the day memorable.  This year's net proceeds again benefit the St. Thomas More Legal Aid Fund for Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas.  CFNEK is pleased to partner with local professionals to grow in faith and knowledge.  We hope to see you again in 2012.

Attorneys, accountants, financial planners and life insurance agents filled Keleher Conference Center at Savior Pastoral Center in Kansas City, Kansas to receive continuing education credits with a Catholic perspective.  Fr. Tad Pacholczyk, from the National Catholic Bioethics Center began a robust three hour CE program that began with mass celebrated by Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann, and included a presentation by James Crimmins on charitable giving with insurance, annuities and trusts.  Jim Betterman finished the morning with an in-depth overview of estate and gift tax changes and ways for professionals to add value to client relationships beyond the benefits of lowering taxes.
