Dear Friends,

Through a strong union of leaders from throughout the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas representing parishes, schools and other institutions, I am confident that the Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas provides a solid framework of financial support to ensure that our faith will be passed to future generations. Changing demographics and aging churches in established communities, coupled with growth and the accompanying needs throughout the region, makes this a dynamic and important time in the history of the Church. It is my honor to lead the dedicated Catholic leaders who comprise the Foundation’s Board of Directors. Our board consists of a broad Northeast Kansas geographic representation of committed professional laypersons who are recommended to, and appointed by, the Archbishop to guide the purposes for which the Foundation was created. These purposes are to accept endowments and trusts from various Archdiocesan entities, to provide or retain asset management and investment services, and to otherwise assist trustees in meeting their responsibilities and to minimize expenses. This report groups our endowments into broad categories that demonstrate the mission of our Catholic Church.
